How we approach construction

We've structured our services around one principle: coordination matters. A lot of construction headaches come from disconnected trades, unclear timelines, and surprises that show up mid-project. We work to prevent that by managing every phase ourselves.

Our team handles residential builds, renovations, and specialized work like foundations and roofing. We also take on facade improvements and interior finishing. The point is that you're not juggling five different contractors who don't talk to each other.

Every project gets a clear scope before we start. No vague estimates that balloon later. We tell you what we're doing, when we're doing it, and what it'll cost.

Our services

Each service can stand alone or work as part of a larger project.

Residential home construction

New home builds from the ground up. We manage site preparation, framing, and all the way through to final inspections. Our process includes design coordination so the home you get matches what you envisioned. This works for single-family homes, duplexes, and accessory dwelling units.

Complete renovations

Full-scale renovations that transform existing spaces. We handle structural changes, layout modifications, and complete updates to kitchens, bathrooms, or whole floors. Projects stay on timeline because we coordinate all trades under one management structure. Whether it's a 1970s bungalow or a more recent build, we adapt our approach to the existing structure.

Foundation work

Foundations need to be right. There's no fixing them easily later. We pour basements, crawl spaces, and slab foundations depending on soil conditions and your building plans. Repair and reinforcement services are also available for existing foundations showing signs of settling or cracking.

Roofing services

Roof installations and replacements for residential properties. We work with asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roof systems. Saskatchewan weather demands proper installation—ice damming, wind resistance, and ventilation all factor into how we approach each job. Inspection and maintenance services help extend the life of existing roofs.

Facade work

Exterior finishing that protects and improves your home's appearance. This includes siding installation, stucco application, brick and stone veneer, and exterior trim. We also handle window and door installation as part of facade projects. Proper weather barrier installation is standard—crucial for our climate.

Interior finishing

The work that makes a construction site into a home. Drywall, painting, trim carpentry, flooring, and built-in cabinetry. We match finishing styles to your preferences, whether that's modern minimalist or something more traditional. And we clean up properly when we're done—you shouldn't have to live with construction dust for weeks.

Engineering systems installation

Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems installed correctly and to code. We coordinate with licensed specialists and handle all permit requirements. System design considers your daily needs and future expansion possibilities. Proper installation now prevents callbacks and failures later.

Project tiers

Starting ranges depend on project scope—these give you a general framework.

How a project works

Four phases from first conversation to handing over the keys.

1

Initial consultation

We meet at your property or our office to discuss what you're looking for. You share your ideas, budget range, and timeline hopes. We ask questions about how you use the space and what problems you want solved. This conversation shapes everything that follows.

2

Proposal and planning

Based on our discussion, we prepare a detailed proposal. This includes scope of work, material specifications, timeline, and pricing. We walk through it together and make adjustments. No work starts until you understand exactly what you're getting.

3

Construction phase

Work begins according to the agreed schedule. Your project manager keeps you informed—you'll know what's happening each week and what's coming next. Site visits are welcome with advance notice. Issues get addressed as they arise, not buried until the end.

4

Completion and handover

We do a thorough walkthrough together before calling anything finished. A punch list catches any remaining items. You receive documentation on materials used, warranty information, and maintenance recommendations. Then we hand over the keys.

Questions about our services

Do I need to hire an architect separately?

For new builds and major renovations, architectural plans are often required. We can recommend architects we work well with, or coordinate with one you've already chosen. Some smaller projects don't need formal architectural involvement—we can advise based on your specific situation.

How do you handle permits?

We manage permit applications for projects that require them. This includes preparing necessary documentation, submitting applications to the City of Saskatoon, and scheduling required inspections. Permit costs are itemized separately in our proposals.

What if I only need one service, like roofing?

Single-service projects are welcome. Not everyone needs a full renovation. We approach smaller jobs with the same coordination and communication as larger ones. The scope is just tighter.

How do you handle changes mid-project?

Changes happen. When they do, we document the requested change, explain how it affects timeline and cost, and get your written approval before proceeding. No surprise charges. The goal is keeping you informed, not locking you into something that no longer makes sense.

What areas do you serve?

We work primarily in Saskatoon and surrounding communities within about an hour's drive. Projects further out may be possible depending on scope. Let us know where you're located when you reach out.
